Hey there, how are you, so happy you've popped by. Today I am sharing my project for this week's Peachy Keen Challenge #41-3D Wall Art. I was thrilled to not only be able to play along again but get to post about it on my long lost blog and use almost all of my "Halloween" PK stamps. When I saw the challenge I decided to make a "Happy Hallowe'en" banner so I could ink up all those stamps that have been patiently waiting for the season to arrive :)
I used Nested lacey pennants (spellbinders) to make the bases in black cs. I cut an extra one then trimmed it down to use as a template to cut all the dp mats. I used the Tim Holtz "Rosette" die and cut two strips per rosette to make them larger, and hot glued them to the pennants.
I stamped all my images and cut out a bunch more with the cricut using Paper Doll Dress Up and Happy Hauntings, cutting two and three of each image to layer and pop dot. By tonight I was running short on time and finally had to give in and buy the "Happy Hallowe'en" banner from the $ store. I glued all the pennants to the bottom tips of the letters, strung some extra wide ribbon that I cut in half and tied together across my living room window blind then tied all the letters/pennants to the wide ribbon with short strips of reg. narrow black ribbon.
So after a lot of inking, chalking, pop dotting, glossy accents, and even some heat embossing, it's finished. The trick or treaters were coming and I was still trying to finish hanging it. lol TFL
Be warned this is pic heavy

For Peachy Keen fans every where, and if your not yet, you should be, how can you NOT love that face? :)
PK-609 Build-a-Scarecrow
PK-M04 Mini Ghost - used lots of pop dots :)
PK-622 Booped Out Ghost - small (named by Kathy J's youngest )
Eyes: PK-493 Everyday character face parts and more
nose/mouth PK-493 funshine face parts
PK-621 Spider on Freaked Ghost
For the ghost I used the smallest face from the PK-550 Pumpkin Faces set, but I coloured in the two teeth and masked the lashes and eye brows because I wanted it to look more ghostly and they dont have such features, lol but I needed a different small ghost face. Used the first stamp from PK-552 Cut-out pumpkin faces for the cricut pumpkin cut :)
PK-604 Bewitched - heat embossed her outfit :)
PK-M04 Mini ghost (with pumpkin)
PK-574 basic paper doll faces - coloured image in and masked the nose and chin lines, and used the plain eyes, also coloured in to hide the white of the eye since ghosts don't have any ;) LOL
PK-620 Halloween Pumpkins
PK-609 Trick or Treat Ghost (tysm Kathy J)
"swooping bats" memory box dies
PK-623 Ghost with Pumpkin
PK-552 cut-out pumpkin faces and PK-550 Pumpkin faces on cricut cuts
CC-PK3x3-005 Fuzzy Spider -cottage cutz die/PK stamps, he's so cute and comes with two face stamps, a hat, broom and magic wand die cutz :) adorable
I used PK-M04 mini ghost again for this scene I created but masked the pumpkin and arms so it would look different, don't see many pumpkins in the grave yard ;) lol
a pic of what they looked like before tied to the wide ribbon, this is my fave one, and I just love the scarecrow one, unfortunately I had planned to hang the banner in one continuous string, so I had made that one to divide the two words but when I couldn't find a good place to hang it with it being so long I didn't get to add him, and he's just so darn cute, I love him!!!
Hope you like my banner, I think I will donate it to the sick kids hospital in Toronto for next Hallowe'en :) I love reading your comments, they mean a lot, ty sooo much for stopping by, I'd love to know you were here so I can visit your blog and leave you some love in return :) hugs, hope you all had a safe and happy hallowe'en (if you celebrate it) where ever you are!!
Big inky hugs and glittery wishes...take care till next time, have fun and happy stamping!
