Bday card for Maria

My very good friend  from Germany love's  LOTV stamps, butterflies and the colour blue! This is the card I made for her bday last yr. and I know she would have loved it but it went MIA somewhere between here and there, along with the whole bday pkg I sent her, chock full of die cuts and embellishments and all kinds of special goodies intended just for her to bring her joy.
So today I decided since it has never arrived I would do this post in her honour and share this card here so if she would like to look at it any time she can just come here and take a peek :) I know it's not the same, but neither would recreating the same card to send to her. This is a special card and shouldn't be recreated, I will make her a better one as she deserves it and MORE!! I love this lady so much, she is the sweetest, kindest most gentle hearted person you ever want to meet, and she spoils me!! I would sooo love to be able to spoil her back and some day I will, even though she doesn't want me to :) You see she would rather give than receive. :)
Onto her very special card. I can't remember the name of this style but it is fun to make and share :) I used a Viva pearl pen "Ice White" for her buttons, glitter gel pens on her hair bows and flowers, then some stickles on the flowers and glitter gel pens on the flower wrapper topped with glossy accents. I only had a couple copics then so I only used them on her hair and skin, but sry don't remember which ones.  The blues and purple (before the gel pens) were prisma colour pencils :) The bg dp is chinese origami paper. And of course I used my scalloped squares die to mat the image which is "Rosie Posey", isn't she just darling :)

I wish I had taken a pic of it after I signed it, but you don't expect things not to arrive, this is the second pkg I sent to her that has never shown up at her door. I often wonder where they are? Did the pkg break open and someone enjoyed the contents? If so I hope they enjoyed it, would be better than the contents never being seen by anyone  :)

I love LOTV stamps as well and will be making a lot more special cards for all my friends and family members soon :) Thank you so much Maria for sending me these awesome stamps, I hope I can do them justice the way the DT ladies do....oh my gosh their cards make me drool!! LOL I would love the opportunity to be a GD for this company, the stamps are easy to colour and perfectly detailed for every occasion you need. And their sentiment stamps are fabulous tooo!
Love you hun, can't wait till you get to come visit me, we will have so much fun crafting together!!  Please don't be upset by my post, it is ok that they didn't arrive, things happen for a reason. Consider it as you gave instead of received, I have decided that is how I will look at it from now on   :O)  big inky hugs and glitter wishes my sweet friend!!
Ty so much for popping in to see Maria's card, I hope you like it  :)  Please leave me a comment so I can come see what you've been up to  :)  Don't forget to go visit this company, LOTV stands for Lili of the Valley, I promise you won't be disappointed!!
